LED Turn Signals

Hello all,

I installed front, dual color LED turn signals this past weekend. The problem is that the colors are backwards, when the parking lights are on the amber LEDs come on and when I hit the turn signal the white LEDs come on. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas/suggestions?

Pull the LED and rotate it 180 degrees and put it back in. Should work now.

I tried that, on both sides, same result.

That means your pin-outs on your blinker are different than the LEDs you are trying to use. Check out this thread on LED blinkers. These are also called switchback LEDs

I read the thread and may be I'm just not seeing it, but it seems it only talks about the resistors, which I have but haven't installed. Am I missing something? The lights seems to work fine, it's just they flash the wrong color.

There are two options.
1. Purchase the LED called out in the referenced thread. http://www.superbrightleds.com/more...b--dual-intensity-60-smd-led-tower/1777/4121/
2. Use the pin-outs defined in the thread and swap the always on and blinking wires.

I haven't gone back to the shop where my buddy bought them, I'll try them this weekend to see what they say.

do the switchbacks mentioned above need load resistors? Or is it plug and play?
