In October, Brandon and I headed to Houghton Michigan for the final round of the Rally America national series. We spent the weekend with Team O'Neil Motorsports, working alongside the mechanics on the Fiesta rally cars. The two of us crewed for Lucy Block (yes, Ken's wife) and interviewed a number of the drivers and co-drivers. At the end of the event, Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino took 1st in 2WD and the 2WD National Championship with the Fiesta and Ford picked up the 2WD Manufacturers Championship.

Brandon and I were planning on running a TSD rally this month, but it never got scheduled. Almost every year the local group puts on a TSD rally before Thanksgiving and we were excited to actually have a car with an accurate speedometer/odometer to use. We just kept waiting for the date to be posted, but it never happened. I am sure we will run one next year, and possibly a Detroit SCCA rallycross event too. I love how the ST seems to be perfectly at home on the street, open track, autocross, and in the dirt. The car just does everything well! If the forecast is correct, I will know how it does in the snow with proper tires this weekend.

Not sure yet, my brother has the car and he hasn't told me the type yet. I know they are Bridgestones and 17". I should have the car back this weekend and I will get a pic posted. I had a set of 16" Blizzaks installed for a week when snow was forecasted, and my brother was running 15" Generals until marketing sent us tires.
