Mtune updates?

Just installed my MP215. My Mtune is on 1.7.1.1-8434. This looks to be the same firmware that was released by Cobb on 5/19/14. Do I just install APManager to update to a newer firmware? The Mtune support page on the mountune.com site says it does not support North America.......

Right, just connect the mTune to the AP Manager and it will allow the update to happen once you hit the begin update button.
