Music Video: Track Day at Summit Point Raceway!

I am loving my Fiesta ST on the track!

I took every pass, in order, on all 7 sessions I ran over this past weekend, and boiled them down into a sweet, thick, juicy music video.

I hope you like it. Don't forget to turn it up!

Just so you know how HPDE's work, it's not a competition. The passes I'm making always followed a point-by from the car I'm passing, and most of them actually had to lift to let me by. I'm faster around the track, but not everyone has sticky tires, or are trying to be fast around the track.

However, if you happen to have a track-prepared Ferrari, you can probably get by a Fiesta if you really want to.

It wasn't crowded. This was every pass all weekend. 7 sessions at about 12 laps per session = 80 laps give or take.

I counted about 50 passes. Doesn't necessarily mean I wasn't in traffic for 30 laps, but I'd guess I had at least that many laps all to myself.

I think I was on track with about 20 other cars most of the weekend, with that number dwindling on my last session. I even skipped the last session, so there were others who probably enjoyed a fairly empty track late Sunday afternoon.

Most of my time on track was spent catching up to cars (fun) rather than being slowed down by them (not as fun).

Thanks! I don't even remember passing the vette quite that much. Of course he had to lift quite a bit to let me by.

But like I said, I'm just enjoying this little car!
