I anyone having a much trouble as I am getting back to the Home screen or the Information page? These are the two buttons at the bottom center of the screen, and I seem to have to press them 5 - 10 times to get the system to respond.

I have updated to 3.6, and have tried with my thumb, finger, right side up and upside-down but I just can't seem to find a technique that works!

Might be an issue with the touchscreen itself. Do you have any problems with those parts of the screen when in other sections of the interface?

I always have issues with those two buttons no matter what section of the interface I'm in. I can see them "light up" indicating that I have pressed them, but when I release my finger nothing happens. Everything else is fine, I just can't seem to get the technique right for those two buttons. I do have a friend with a 2014 Titanium and I'll see if I can work his any better. I know that MFT has a reputation for being difficult, which is why I suspect it is my technique with those lower buttons on our smaller screen.
OK I've got a technique down that works every time. I have to keep my finger upright and dig it deep into the bottom of the frame around the screen and touch the home button with my fingernail. It seems like only the "home" icon is the touch area and not the entire square.
I have really good luck hitting the home button with my middle finger and my palm facing upward. It's an awkward maneuver, but since i started doing it, it seems to work every time.
So is mft qn awkward mess or not? I still can't get an impression

I don't think it is a hot mess, but it does have some flaws. The touchscreen is not nearly as nice as an iPad and as a result you end up having to "press" buttons several times. I do really like most of the features, and hopefully it keeps getting updated and improved. I would love to see applink brought to the platform. In some ways, I feel like I've taken a step back in features compared to my 2011 Fiesta.
I haven't learned the system yet but I am impressed with the voice command system, I don't touch the touch screen if I can do what I want with my voice.
most things can be done with voice, steering wheel buttons, dash buttons, or the touchscreen. It is nice to have options to do the same command. I use hard buttons for 90% of my interaction for HVAC and audio. Phone is 100% voice for dialing. Be sure to check if you have the latest update of MFT, they changed a lot of the touch area. We are still running the original pre-production version of MFT in the ST since the dealer is convinced it is a joke that we have a ST and doesn't have any record of the car existing to do an update to. We can't update with Syncmyride.com either because it isn't a real production car. Thankfully, the rest of you won't have any these issues :)
FWIW, I haven't had any issues triggering the buttons in question. However, my MFT is still running an older version, so the touch areas for the individual sections are still irritatingly small. Going to try and update it during lunch.

This update, you guys. It's taking forever.
I also just found out that the ONLY way that SYNC can organize your music is alphabetically... Even when there is track number information. That is just plain silly.

You can use the voice command and ask for music by genre, artist, playlist, or even similar music. I did notice that MFT has a similar music button on the USP entertainment page. That is a cool feature!

Quite positively I'd say!

Hi MGORDON,

We were able to replicate this concern. This can be resolved by ensuring all of the artists in an album are the same. If one song is featuring another artist, the songs may play in alphabetical order instead of the correct track order. You'll also need to turn Gracenote management off by pressing: 2 GEARS > MEDIA PLAYER > GRACENOTE MGMT OFF.
