This may hurt future software developments: http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/news...m-sync-in-car-systems-will-use-blackberry-qnx
I'm sure that we are at the trailing edge of technology as of now.You can bet there won't be any future upgrades for what we have now.

You can try deleting the phone from MyFord Touch and pairing it again. You should not be receiving this message. I personally don't have information on the Ford Customer Satisfaction Clinic, but I'll see if I can get more information on that. I'll let you know either way.Kim,
So even though my phone is sending and receiving texts when i try voice commands such as "listen to text message" or "reply to text message", it says aloud "text messaging not supported on this device", then proceeds to read the message anyway. Is there anything I can do?
Ps.
Also, how do I get invited to the Ford Customer Satisfaction Clinic in Irvine, CA?

Kim,Can you comment on the news about QNX?
How much updating and enhancement will happen for our hardware?
If the answer is zero, is there any effort to open source the system so people who bought a lame duck can DIY?
For a somewhat successful example of that, see the HP tablet.

Hi wash and Ronbo,Kim,
I, and no doubt many others, are interested in this as well. Looking forward to your reply!
Which specific iOS are you running? Try deleting SYNC from the phone and deleting the phone from the MyFord Touch system. Hold the POWER and HOME button until the Apple appears. Once the phone powers back up, pair the phone: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/pair-your-phone-sync-myford-touch Make sure your settings match these: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/how-to-allow-ios-text-messaging-sync-myford-touchKim,
Bad news, I updated to ios7 and now I can't get messages thru MFT again.
I enabled everything shown in this thread but no go.
I got that letter as well. I also have a warranty purchase that exceeds it as well. Thanks for Nothing.
I just received a letter stating the warranty on the MyTouch system was extended to five years.
This would be great except I already bought the ESP for Seven / 100k.
So this does me NO good at all.
This is how Ford rewards it's loyal customers that buy all the UPs and Extras at time of purchase.

How much did you pay for your warranty? Was it the premium care from ford? Thanks for Nothing.
