For anyone who runs under NASA autocross rules: As you may already know, the Fist is not in the NASA car classification guide. Since my local club is considering the switch from SCCA to NASA, I posted a question on the NASA forums and was told that any car not on the the list automatically runs in NXR class. This is the highest class and would mean we're nowhere near competitive. The good news is that they expect the car to be classified "soon" so hopefully we'll be in with the proper class soon.

They just posted the FiST classification as NXE**. So it's E class but on the verge of bumping to D if you do any mods other than no-points mods. I'm already past that, so I'll definitely be in NXD. If my local club switches to NASA rules, I'll be running against Miatas, Cooper S, and an RX-8. If they don't switch, STX will have a Cooper and a Civic SI in STX. Either way, I think I stand a chance against those. Looking forward to finding out.
