Has anyone removed the stereo yet or found out which plastic to remove on dash to get behind system. I need to hunt for that troublesome green remote wire for a new amp I'm going to install. I don't even want to think the thought of me snapping plastic clips and fasteners as I try to get behind this thing...

A follow up question is has anyone found the plug or a hole in the firewall to run the hot wire for an amp inside the car? I'm nervous about pealing up carpet as well.

Mine is wired almost exactly the same as Tom's above.

I used the power to the antenna to be the remote trigger for the sub amp.
This is a black wire in connector C212 pin 10 located in the right kick panel.

I couldnt sell my mtx 8000 so i guess I might put it into the fiesta and just buy a cheap amp to hookup lol. I doubt you need alot of power inside this tiny car.
