Hi all,

My Names Nathan, in the St Clair Shores / Clinton Township area of Michigan.

Just picked up my new silver FiST last night. After Trading in my old 2001 Oldsmobile, this is my very first manual car, which has put such a smile on my face that I even just went for a drive during my lunch break today.

I hope to meet everyone and hang around for a while.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not too far away in Westland, Michigan. And although I bought my car at the end of October I still occasionally come up with excuses to drive somewhere. Can't wait until spring to find some twisties and maybe do a few autocrosses BUT the roads around here are so torn up!

Yeah, they certainly are! Trying to drive down some side streets I thought my head might just rattle off.

Hello from Ann Arbor/Ypsi!

This is also my first manual car, and it makes me regret all of the years I've wasted driving around without a clutch petal. Heel-and-toe downshifts actually make me look forward to red lights and stop signs.

Haha, Certainly agree with you. Had to drive a company car (Auto 2001 Taurus) yesterday and was SO BORED.
