I'm using Torque Pro with an obd bluetooth adapter to monitor the engine and performance of the car. There are some outputs that Torque Pro doesn't have setup? Does anyone have access to the PIDs that Ford uses in the FiST?

I'm especially trying to find info about the oil temperature and/or pressure. Thanks for your help.

I've been working on reverse-engineering CAN signals from my FiST, and have found signals for torque demand and actual engine torque and so on. Still working on finding boost pressure so I can take performance and lap measurements and videos with that.

But I'm getting a bluetooth OBD interface to get some signals logged and displayed with a computer and/or tablet. Is there a list somewhere of what signals you can get out of that in our cars?

According to Torque, the ford PID for vacuum/ boost is 221440, equation: (((a*256)+b)*0.03625)-bar0)

Do you have a laptop w/ bluetooth? Apparently Forscan is a free program that will scan all available outputs. My laptop is bluetooth free

Thanks! I do have a few options for bluetooth laptops, so I look forward to playing with that. I am quite familiar with CAN bus engineering, but not OBD. So I'll get plugged in and try it out soon.

Update: I received my ELM327 OBD WiFi adapter (this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AOIM2CC/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I downloaded DashCommand from the App Store ($9.99). With this I get a pretty nice interface on my iPhone, and one of the parameters I can use is boost/vacuum. It behaves just like I'd expect based on driving other turbo cars with boost gauges. During a quick black on the highway today I saw it maxed out at 15PSI of boost, which seems about right since I'm running 87 octane these days.

I plan to set this up with an iPad, since this OBD adapter takes my phone's WiFi, so it's not online while I use it for gauges. Another option would be to spend some more money for an Apple-compatibile Bluetooth OBD adaptor. I haven't gone too far with the setup yet, but this iOS app works, and also FORScan (http://forscan.org) worked on my MacBook Air under Windows 8 in VirtualBox. That has some options to view and log parameters live.

No listings for oil temp or pressure that I've found yet, though.

jimlau, torque pro (app) has a plugin called torqueScan, which allows you too scan for available PID's that aren't always shown in torque pro
