Hey, I am interested in the Mountune MP215 kit so that I have no issues with my warranty. However, before I purchase the kit I want to ensure I have a dealership that will actually do the install. I have called all of the Cleveland area dealers and none are even interested in the work. I was wondering if anyone know a dealership anywhere in Ohio that is friendly to ford racing parts.

I got a link from Mountune (Ken) late last year; don't know if it is still valid, but it lists Ford Racing related dealers. Since I'm new I can't post said link, but email Mountune and I'm sure they will provide the data.

No, I contact Mountune and they told me that can't recommend install locations or dealers. Although someone from Mountune was on the Hooniverse podcast recently and stated that the warranty isn't voided if the kit is installed by an ASM certified mechanic. I have no idea how that works with your Ford warranty and it makes me hesitant. I specifically waited to by my ST CPO with Ford's extended warranty so I won't pull the trigger until I know my warranty is rock solid. I've had issues with other car manufacturers in the past.

If you go to the Mountune sub forum, Ken from Mountune posted the updated information on June 26th. Here is his post:

To take advantage of the Ford Performance / Mountuneperformance pack limited warranty, Mountune kits and parts must be installed at any Ford or Lincoln Dealer including Mountune USA. Additionally.. NOW you may also elect to have the products installed by any automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). There are literally thousands of ASE certified facilities in the USA so this should make it a great deal easier to enjoy the benefits of a Ford backed warranty. You are still required to register the kit and complete information can be found at the link below.
