It might not reset if you have anything plugged into the OBDII port. This was the same problem I had trying to run a VHR right after I bought it and had installed my dual Scanguages. We determined that unplugging the Scanguages, driving it for a bit, in my case, driving home from the dealership (~15 miles) was enough to let me run the report.I guess you all will have to add me to the list of dummies who can't make sense of the oil life monitor. The obstinate system just won't respond the way the manual says it should. I must have re-read that paragraph six times trying to see where I might have mis-understood what it was explaining, but I came up with the same non-response from the system. I've done this about seven times on my 2011, but this one no worky. In addition, I can no longer run a vehicle report even though I ran one back in October. The system says I have to have over 200 miles on the car, despite having turned 10,000 miles. And yes, SYNC services is set up.
Hi-tech is nice when it works right, but it sure is exasperating when it acts up. Sometimes I want to do as Harvey Keitel did in the 1992 movie "Bad Lieutenant", where I he furiously pumped six rounds into the radio with his service revolver when he heard that he lost a bet on a baseball game.
