Ok, now I'M experiencing the same condition.

Problem: Ran a vehicle history report at 9950 miles; report says I have 3% oil life; dealer changed oil (Mobil 1) at 7000 miles (and noted twice on the work order, *reminder reset*); can not reset Oil Life Monitoring System reminder based on Owner's Manual (Third Printing) instructions (page 183).

Solution: Engineers at Ford test this on real-life vehicles (I.e., more than one), fix the problem, update the dealers and owners, and then join this forum and let's chat.

I am posting an ongoing history of my experiences with this issue at the following URL. Read the thread below for everything that the dealership and Ford have tried to fix this issue on my car and on Tuesday, April 22, they are going to switch out the PCM.

I will post back on the URL above after the PCM is replaced on Tuesday. I am only updating the forum in the URL above with my case history.

Just had the oil changed at the dealer, and show 19% oil life remaining...

Issue NOT resolved I take it. ... I guess this means we have to wait for the oil warning light to come on in order to reset the monitor and keep track of oil changes on paper (or in an app)

At the dealers now. They've tried resetting the computer to no avail. I told him if he can solve it, he'll be the first on the country. ..they plan to try something else, updates of they get it

No CHANGE. They tried everything they could think of. Even called back to Ford Service for advice and were told to follow the procedures in the manual... He was hoping that it wouldn't be able to be reset even after the light comes on on the dash, but everyone has been able to reset it then haven't they? I sent more details of what happened on the Meagan. ... All we can hope for now is that they KNOW there's a problem so they can work towards a resolution... I don't have high hopes.

Interesting thing, I did the Vehicle health report yesterday and finally checked I today... and the oil life information is not present at all. Last time I checked, it said 0% left, but now just nothing about the oil.

Did this ever go anywhere? I just did a VHR for the first time @ 17k miles and I have done 5 oil changes.... Never saw a light come on and I have never tried resetting but the VHr indicates 0% oil life which is comical....

Never went anywhere. They either can't fix it or don't care to.
The Ford dealership applied the following TSB in early December, 2014, on my Fiesta ST. I guess I won't know if it worked until I have my oil changed again and try to reset the Oil Life Monitoring System.

TSB 14-0202

FORD:
2014-2015 Fiesta
ISSUE
Some 2014-2015 Fiesta vehicles equipped with a 1.6L GDTI engine and built on or before 10/7/2014 may exhibit a
concern where the Oil Change Message cannot be reset.

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 92.02 or higher. Make sure
you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates.

Just an update: I had to hound my dealer to get them to actually do the TSB, but they did and now everything appears to be working as it should. I'd like to add that while the FiST is a fantastic little car in almost every regard, the Ford dealer sales/service network remains GARBAGE and everything is a colossal pain in the ass. My oil change was FREE and I still left feeling cheated. Having worked at a Ford dealer in the parts department a number of years ago, I can say that things have improved but only marginally and by all accounts my dealer is better than most. Shame really.

I'm about due for a servicing, so I'll keep that TSB number handy. My concern was that when they flash the PCM, that the mtune settings would go back to stock, and since the mtune works on one car once, that I would be without my tune for the mp215. I contacted Randy at mountune, and he allayed my fears. Apparently the mtune works with one car, but will re-do it if the tune is overwritten by the dealer. How cool is that?

I have the same issue on our FiST. No oil light still after ~13,000 miles, oil life 0% on health report, no prompts or anything when holding the brake and throttle with "key-on".
For people who had their PCM reprogrammed as per TSB 14-0202, do you get a prompt on the dash now when doing the holding the brake and throttle with "key-on" procedure?
For later FiST's who do not have a problem resetting the oil life, do you get a prompt on the screen when doing the holding the brake and throttle with "key-on" procedure? or do all FiST's not have the ability to reset the oil life?

JUst a heads up... apparently the TSB won't work if the car has had the mountune mp215 installed. the ECU is locked. Either that or the dealer didn't bother to unplug the cable when he saw it in the OBDII port. He said "We can't access the ECU". When I told him I have a tune on the car he said "there goes the warranty"... a discussion ensued wherein I informed him about the mountune association with FORD, etc. One of his comments was.."Why haven't I heard of this before".. .my thought but I didn't say was.."It's not my job to do yours"... anyway... no TSB install on mine.

Has anyone add success with the TSB? I ask as I had it done but it did not fix the issue. I am not sure the dealer did it correctly they seemed kinda of confused. Yes I did wait for the oil monitor to say 0 % and still no light. Not a big issue but would be nice
