this weekend i got a chance to run my car at the 1/2 mile event. a few guys stopped by and wished they had registered their fiestas'.
....anyway the first couple of passes I had a hard time finding 5th gear. its one thing to lazily put it in there while on the highway and quite another to shift it under full power while running over a 100 mph! finally I moved the seat back. while it was harder to reach the clutch and gas pedal it was easier to open palm the shifter into 5th. results > 124 mph in the half.
......elevation was at 6500. fuel was 7 gallons of pump 91 with two gallons of 100 non leaded tossed on top of it.
mods was mountune fmic and pipes and the mp215. tires aired up to 45psi. needless to say I was happy with the results..... boyracer

anybody was welcome. there were some other entry/beginner cars there. a mazda 3, a couple of intregras, I thought I saw gti, a focus st.
..... at 150 plus you would be in some of the trophy classes. at 170 plus people stopped and wowed. 200 plus was the lambo type cars.
my personal goal is to kiss 140. last year I spectated. this year 124, lol. next year is coming. boyracer

yes want more rubber> 215 40 17 tires on 7.5 rims? not sure what brand/offset. I am after proper sizing don't care about looks. most importantly a bigger turbo for fourth and fifth gear acceleration. obviously a new tuner. 140ish in the half at elevation is the goal. boyracer.
