Most of the time my power steering on my Fist is quiet like my 2011 SE. Once in a while, it makes growling and even a bit of a clunking sound when I move the steering wheel. Anybody else have that, or do I have to go to the dealer? thanks! (btw. my license plate bracket problem has now been solved!)

We have electric power steering, and I agree that it's usually silent -- but I too have experienced similar sounds.

One time a friend said "oh I hear your hydraulic pump..." and I explained that was not the case.

Anyhow, I have only heard it a couple times and didn't think it was a big deal. I think some noise at full lock is "normal".
