Call me old school, but I miss the old days when I had a leather Hurst shift knob (and Hurst short throw shifter, but thats a different story). All of the aftermarket knobs available seem to be heavy, smooth, delrin, etc... I'm more so looking for a simple, high quality leather shift knob that's superior to the factory knob. Anyone have a suggestion? Maybe Redline is my only hope?

I rather like the factory knob. I have a factory wood one for my Miata. I would have guessed I'd prefer a leather one too, but once I started using it I loved it. No helpful recommendations from me!

Don't get me wrong, I like the factory knob. But sometimes it just feels cheap and leaves more to be desired. I'd really like a solidly built, soft, comfortable leather knob!

I sometimes feel that way about the whole car :) but then I remember I'm having fun, and don't care what the inside door panels feel like when I'm manipulating the fun pedal!

Any knob made for the 2011-2014 Mustang will fit as will 2002-2004 SVT Focus and then there's European market stuff as well.

I have a Mondeo diesel knob in my SVT Focus, love this thing and it's held up amazingly over the ten years or so I've been using it.

The one I posted above also came in black with red stitching and with a silver insert with red shift pattern.
