I have been Lurking on here for a while and have owned my FiST since March 31st. Guess my name is Pedro but I go by Pete (messed up my username haha). Anyways I am a preschool teacher that loves teaching 3 year olds how cars work. Like seriously I take in cylinder heads, brakes, all kinds of car part into my class and have the kids get hands on experience. Everything is clean and mounted safely so no harm is caused to the children (disclaimer).

But yeah cars are my passion, my last car was a 1985 Porsche 944 that I decided to convert the mechanical water pump to an electric one. So I pretty much like tinkering. I've been driving Mt. Palomar on the weekends in my Green envy ST and have just decided to start buying performance mods!

I am really going with the rally look with my car so I have the rally spoiler from modbargins, Mudflaps from RB, Orange Sparco Wheels, and dealer vinyl stripes on the side. I will put pics up tomorrow. Anyways always looking to meet someone else with the same car (I have never seen another FiST on the road yet) maybe go for a drive talk cars, install stuff.

So that is me in a nutshell :)

Edit: last car meet I was at was the Might Car Mods Meet in LA. I was the only FiST there if anyone saw it.

I have weekends off but friday night or afternoon can work. I get off work at 6. Today I installed a mishimoto z line intercooler and deleted the muffler. Car sounds awesome and starts picking up boost at 1.5k rpm

Honestly I am not worried about it. Then again I havent had any tuning device touch my car. I also have 7000 miles on the car and I bought it the last day of March. I will probably buy an accessport after I pass 10,000 miles to be on the "safe side"

Wife wanted the extended warranty...so I really don't wanna screw with that till unless its through ford and mountune...which I'm am going to contact ford and get a quote on the intercooler and mp215 pack. I want to know if I can put a Cobb cat back on the car without affecting the warranty. A ford guy said if it doesn't remove any cats ID be OK. Only down side is ford has to install it...

Yeah I originally had the extended warranty, but I cancelled it last month. I like all of mountunes products, its just I am on a preschool teachers budget. I have just barely spent $1000 for all the mods ive done so far from wheels, spoiler, mudflaps, intake, intercooler, and axle back exhaust. Also the finance person incharge of warranties at ford told me that the warranty will still cover the other parts of the car you didnt touch. So that gave me some peace of mind because if the sync system goes out I wouldnt know where to start. Whereas I can rebuild an engine just fine if I needed to haha. Hopefully neither happens.

Edit: fixed typos

Now when you cancelled the warranty, did you get that money back in full? We have the maintenance pack too. They do all of my oil and everything. I'm curious if I get the moola back I could make some "changes" I you know what I mean. Haha.

What intake do you have?

The money just goes towards what you owe if you financed. If you paid in full they will give you a check. Only downside is the money they put towards what you owe doesn't count as a payment :( it just reduces the overall cost.
