Check it out. They are keeping stock classes for r-comp peeps in 2014. IMHO it is to appease the 3 or 4 guys who have won so many new tires dominating stock classes they had no where else to go.

The new street class is essentially unchanged from stock except for the wheel diameter allowance and 140/200 TW road tire requirement. 140 in 2014, 200+ in 2015+...wheels may be +/- 1" dia.

No camber adjustments, no camber bolts, one sway bar only.

The only mistake I saw was to see the full rules in the October Fastrack. October is already out, so I think they mean the November Fastrack. No word on Fiesta ST classing yet.....

I would assume the Fiesta ST will go where the Focus ST goes so GS I am guessing. My main question is whether OEM tires will need to be replaced with 200+ tread wear tires in 2015. It would suck to have to buy another set of wheels and tires.
Go fast costs money....how fast do you want to go?
I will assure you the Re050s are not nearly grippy enough for competitive autocross......

Yeah and the "car-to-have" in DS is now the '08 Audi TT Quattro.....
The ST would not be as competitive in DS but we'll never know until we start running them.

Actually, speaking of money, DS and STX Pax numbers are close (barring a street tire adjustment), so STX upgrades including (SCCA rules legal) tuning, camber plates, and coil-over suspension would make it more competitive in STX than in DS.......

And we have a sht load of mini drivers in the KC region so comparisons can be made...

I'm really excited about running the ST, but I'm already aggravated by trying to find wheels for this thing. With the +/- 1 rules, I'd love to find an 16x8 or 8.5. Which wheel manufacturers have a good selection in the Fiesta bolt pattern? Am I just missing the obvious?
Yes, if you are going to compete in street or stock you have to maintain the 7" wheel width. personally I am getting the white Sparco 16x7s from Tire Rack. They are light weight and look cool!
