I recently purchased the boomba weighted shift knob, but I haven't really had time to investigate what it takes to remove the oem knob...anyone replace their knob with a new knob?

So it's not a left handed thread...not that it would be...I have Hulked it counter clockwise a couple of times...and now my wrist is broken...and that means I will not be golfering for a while

I can't say I've ever heard of someone breaking neutral. Doesn't mean it can't/hasn't happened, but I'm sure it takes a special kind of person to do it.

The neutral gear has much smaller teeth. Although it doesn't see the same load as the other gears, you do still have to be careful.

Put mine on today...used my man hands...I like it...it's a little taller than the stock knob which leaves more to grab...and I thought the 370 gram weight would be too heavy but it's not..it's perfect

My knobs weigh 460g, though I've thought about getting a heavier one for the FoST.

I put mine on the other day and I guess mine wasnt glued on. It took minimal force to get it off. I put the breedt knob on that they made for the focus. All black with the ST engraving.
