I dropped to 15's for winter and looking now i don't see many if any 205/40/17 snow/winter tires around . The main reason i went to 15 was they cost as much for wheels and a set of Blizzaks in 15's as the tires and mounting would have cost to go with stock wheels IIRC correctly .. and at that time i was thinking of saving my stock tires for summer use so a extra set of rims was a no brainer for me, At this late date maybe if you can get away with it a 3 season or All season tire could work.. Just sayin.. I know others have run 16 inch winter tires with good luck too...

the 14" wheels are on my 2011 Fiesta, not the ST. You need 15" wheels or larger to clear the ST brakes.

Yes 15's work just fine on a ST and make the brakes look huge in that so called tiny wheel
