The only time I ever ran snow tires, I ran Blizzaks. This was on my WRX for a two week stint in Oregon. I did a tour around the crater and spent time on trails around Mt. Hood.
This was a great setup. I recall being amazed how much difference this made! Curiously, I got a deal on four front tires for a 996 Porsche (winter OEM) from TireRack for a big price break.
