I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. Happy to be here!

I've already done the gas pedal spacer upgrade and brought it up to the height of the brake/clutch. That was a nice enhancement although something that should have been done from the factory.

My question is has anyone noticed that the drive-by-wire gas pedal is very soft? I commute 50 miles round-trip to work each day and I notice after 15-20 miles that the tendons/muscles in my lower leg is hurting because I feel the need to hold back on the accelerator. Unlike a conventional cable actuated pedal that has more resistance this one does not.

Anyone else experiencing this and if so have you found a way to change this?

Climb under the dash and see about adding a spring to the pedal. Looking at the catalog image I'm not sure how you'd go about it though.

Maybe you could remedy this with foot placement. I sometimes "anchor" my foot with my heel at a spot on the floor. If you try this, it does take some trial and error to find the "sweet spot" and it varies in each car.

Another thing that you might check is the seat height. If the height is not ideal for you it can also sometimes cause discomfort.
