I've done some further research.

Looks like the bulbs in the rear are in fact 3757A's. The turnsignals in the headlight assembly however are 3157A's, which is really strange. I will post more as I start taking things apart.

Can we get this stickied?

For what it's worth, I've used 3157A replacement bulbs front and rear successfully. However this could be the bulb I used (CREE LEDs) http://www.ebay.com/itm/221282581909?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
