Although I typically read Jalopnik a few times a week, it's hardly a source of great automotive journalism. Articles are barely proofread and the writing is pretty poor. I do like how the gawker media sites have an almost forum-like discussion and comment area. Though, it typically turns into an automotive circle jerk around miatas, wagons and cars with manual transmissions (all of which the arm chair, interweb auto execs will never actually buy).
