I like the idea, but I think it wouldn't fly in the states. I'll bet that car handles even better than the ST, since it's lighter. People wanting mileage will go for the 1.0, or a Prius, but the performance freaks would be all about the ST. A sporty-handling economy car doesn't makes sense to Americans. We like big cars for our big asses. I hope hot hatches do catch on this time, since those are the cars I like most, but I'm admittedly a minority. One of my favorite cars I ever had was an '84 Colt turbo. It was zippy, flickable, and got good mileage.
