I was driving home from work today and listening to Sirius XM radio. As usual, the signal was dropping out every few minutes as I went under an overpass or too near a building. I hunted around a bit on the MFT, and found a "replay" button. When selected, it allows you to pause Sirius XM! I paused it for about 10 seconds, and then my intermittent music was a thing of the past. :)
Today I used my seat heater for the first time, and discovered that the Recaros have bottom and back heat!
The rear wiper is intermittent, but if you have your front wipers on high, the rear will wipe constantly.

This surprised me in a bad way but... the front license plate bracket is riveted to the bumper. I don't see any way of removing the rivet aside from drilling it out. Suggestions are welcome.

I rode in the back seat of my FiST last night for the first time and noticed that both seats have the back pockets.

I like that !
I'm surprised that the arm rests in the front door don't have little pockets so you have nothing to grab beside the too far forward handle when you are opening the door.

Nope, drilling is the only option. Unlike the location of the holes on 2011-2013 though, you can't cover these up with black plugs and make it look decent. other options include this:

Though because of the bumper curve and location low on the plastic, you'll need to drill two more holes for stability (which would still be covered by the standard plate bracket if that needs to get re-installed)

What? I gotta look behind the seat. Too enamored with the lumbar support I guess.

Nice although I try not to drive in the rain. Now up to 7 times in 3 years (all in 2013 'cuz I said f' it) for my SES.

What the hell am I doing in this car the last three days? I don't notice anything!

Nope, no pocket behind my driver's seat, standard interior.

On my GTI I drilled out the rivets, went to the hardware store and got some black plastic plugs, like they use under the hood, with about a 1/2 diameter flat head and plugged them in the holes and painted them the car color and no one notices them. beats the big of plate....
I was unable to order mine with a front bracket delete (even though they are optional here) so I will probably drill mine out and find some method of making it easily removable, perhaps something like this:
