Was the car in motion when you checked these? Many options grey out on my USDM model when in motion (like inputting gps address)

SYNC assistance required
After picking up my new FiST today, I've had a chance to fiddle around with the gadgets and buttons. I found the SYNC system intuitive, however there are three greyed out or apparently unavailable menu options: Vehicle Settings, System Check and MyKey. For the life of me I can't figure out why these are unavailable or what the overlapping square icons mean (see pic).
I understand that AU FiST entertainment systems may differ from those sold in other regions, so I'm not sure if you US guys will be able to assist with this one.
Any help appreciated!
