Yep. I understand what happened. It just confuses some people when staged parts are not released all at once or in order.
I wonder if I should edit the parts thread under the COBB heading to indicate what their stages entail for those who don't know already.

Up to you, it's your baby. It couldn't hurt. It's already an awesome list.

I'm just sort of surprised that the FMIC and Intake aren't up on COBB's site yet. Can't go Stage 3 without those for the interested parties.
Out stock intake is more than capable of 300+ hp. FMIC (w/o plumbing) green filter and down pipe and tune is all you really need unless your upgrade the turbo. Just cause they say you need it doesn't mean you really need it. Take the exhaust hangers for 65 bucks. That's a rip! Any exhaust shop would give you similar hangers for less than 20 bucks.

As far as the exhaust. Have one custom made for less than $200 and get the sound YOU want.

I have a hard time believing that you'd be able to get a proper mandrel bent system made for that price.

I paid nearly $600 for a custom full stainless 3" tig welded exhaust for my XR4Ti.

I paid about 450 for my MBRP for the ST which is even better as it actually has tips you can see.

The idea that you can successfully "choose your own sound" is a long shot as even swapping out resonators to reduce drone has proven quite a crap shoot for others on the forum.
A good exhaust mechanic will have a reasonable idea what the sound will be with the inventory they sell. Also, when I did custom work, I would often start the car before welding up the system to make sure that's what the customer was looking for. Tack it with a mig. As far as mandrel bent tubing, the gains are not going to be that significant in my opinion.
The only drawback is the system won't be all stainless steel it will be aluminized.
My exhaust sounds nearly identical to the sound symposer.
$200 for a press bent aluminized cat back? Knock yourself out.

Stainless magnaflow and tip.
Stainless magnaflow and
Som
I went with a high flow resonator as well because without it I felt there would be a drone.

Oh wait, you did. ;)

Damn you have a good attitude. I wouldn't have been so amicable. Haha. Glad to have you hear.
