Hello everyone. After searching around forever I finally found an option that I'm gonna go with for all season tires. I know they won't be as good as winter tires but I don't have the money to get the smaller rims and tires like everyone recommends. Just wondering if these will work on the FiST. I know it's 205/40/17 but I don't know what XL or 84W means. Can someone fill me in?

Update: the tires arrived and I had them put on today. I haven't had a chance to really test them out but I tried going up a couple hills that the Potenza's had not been able to get up and they did it with no problems at all! So far, great tires!

I just bought a set of these Falken ZIEX ZE950 A/S. Just went thru the snowstorm in New Jersey with these. My Fiesta ST is my only transportation. I have to say these tires do very well in snow.

Although I don't have to go through nearly as much snow as you got, I agree. These tires do great in the snow!

I just had the Falken ZIEX ZE950 A/S installed on the Tuesday before the snow storm up here in New Jersey. They performed very well in the snow & I have driven on the in dry weather but I have not driven in the rain yet. When it rains I'll post my opinion on how they handle the rain. I previously had the Cooper RS3A all season tires which were good all around & lasted the 40,000 miles they claimed. I wanted to try something different because we have the potential for snow up here in the winter months & I drive 100 miles a day round trip to work. I saw the reviews on the Falken & they seemed to get good reviews especially in snow.

Hello Guys,
Sorry about asking this but I have been looking for a good bit and its all over the place. What is the the best tire you can get on a 2015 Stock Fist? I am looking for ultra summer, I have winter tires for the cold so all weather does not matter at all.

Looking at the tread, it doesn't seem like it would be as good as the potenza in the rain. Does anyone have experience with that and compare the two?

The Potenzas handle better in the dry weather & rain a bit better. Potenzas definitely handle better in dry weather. Because this is my daily driver & I'm essential personell plus drive 100 miles round-trip I needed something better for the winter. Yes you give up handling but you gain way more traction in the snow. We had a state of emergency snow storm back in January & these tires dig in & grip like snow tires. I drove 100 miles round-trip & never felt like I was going to get stuck. If you live in an area where it's warm & get no snow stick with the potenzas. If you live where you get snow & it's your daily driver & don't want the expense of a 2nd set of tires & wheels go with the Falken ZE950 A/S.

Thanks lou5560. In my area we don't get snow but I plan to take road trips and some of the areas that I may be visiting could have snow. I was hoping to find a tire good for rain and dry but have some snow capability...just in case.

If financials are an issue, why don’t you check out rnrwheels. They are a full service tire shop that will install your tires professionally at a great price and you can make a cash payment plan with them with monthly installments, so your car is up and running right away.
