I have spent mucho cashola...I want a tire and wheel combination that is all season, quiet, and quiet, and durable....Right now, Motegi mr125 with Michelin Pilot AS Sport from Tire Rack....humming and machine gunning....Is it the wheels, balance, alignment, or wheel bearings? Btw....the oem Bridgestones we're way out of whack with road force above 22 lbs...Flat spot on tires? I thought I would ride through it to see if it got better, but it hasn't....yuck...ridiculous

You mean Pilot Sport A/S 3s? You're the first person that I've heard not love them. I had their predecessor, A/S 2, on my Mazda3 and thought they were great. Are you sure you want all seasons and not a dedicated summer tire?

Yeah, I have issues since installing the Motegi mr 125 with the Michelin Pilot A/S Sports from Tire Rack...very annoying, but I am dealing with it for now...I love my FiST, but the noise I am enduring is unacceptable...I am ready to uninstall everything that is connected to the tires, suspension, struts, wheels...if I won the lottery, I would build a FiST...1000 hp awd nasty bitch...

Along with the wheel bearings...money pit...but what am I going to do? It has to be sorted or I am going to blow a gasket...and who really cares but me and my wallet...hopefully tears turn into smiles...f**k me

If bought from tirerack call them and tell them your situation. I hear the Goodyear F1s are the next best tires.

Unfortunately tirerack doesn't always have the best storage principles... I've seen for car tires under four truck tires before. Makes mounting a pain in the ass too sometimes.

I have had an epiphany....I am going to buy local and keep my vendors on the hook if it goes south...it is a giant pain in the ass to ship and receive from a west coast internet vendor...never mind you have to prove there is a problem in the first place...I would rather drive back to the shop I bought me wares from and look em in the face and say "Fix It"! I hope what I am saying and the problems I have encountered are not lost on the rest of owners on this forum

FWIW, I have the Pilot Sport A/S 3s on my Fiesta and they had a tendency to howl on certain kinds of brushed concrete for the first 5-10,000 miles. I have 20k on them now and the noise has gone away.

Humming and machine gunning....this could be a product of a bad wheel bearing translating onto the tire/tires to create a compound noise...back to OEM wheels and tires tomorrow for comparison
