Had 17" Sparcos with 205/45/17 tires and tpms from tirerack installed today. Drove for a about 2 hours no light. I parked for a about 4 hours then tokk her out and about 1 hour driving tje tpms light starts flashing for about 20 or ao secs and stays lit (solid).
Anyone know why or how to remove it? I have the trigger tool but dont know how to use it.

Did you order the TPMS kits from Tire Rack? I've found that some aftermarket wheels can't be fitted with oem style sensors. They either don't work or they leak (badly). When my 18x8 Konig Deceptions were first installed, the TPMS light went off and several hours later all four of my tires went flat. I had to pump them back up (with a bicycle pump, talk about a work out!) and head right back to the Discount Tire. They had to use different TPMS sensors because they wouldn't sit flush with the rim.
I met with the awesome Audiphile today and he got it working :) Super Kewl dude.

I ended up going the cheapie route and just used my TPMS sensors that I already had on the stock wheels. No TPMS resetting or learning. hehehe.

I used stock rims from a 2012 as winter rims but that damn light is always on.. How does one reset it??
I used TPMS from tire rack, and had the dealer install them on my steelies. Reading these TPMS trouble threads... made me ask the tech about the error's everyone seems to get.. (This was Christmas eve and they were closing as I picked up the car). Luckily I mentioned it, because he never set the TPMS yet so I watched him go through seemingly the same process others have been posting, except he also had some gadget he was scanning the TPMS with. (Forgive my lack of technical knowledge).

Anyway, saved me going through the same hassle... as he had originally forgot to do it... and took care of it on the spot before I left. I never got any error messages.

Whole process couldn't have taken more than 2 minutes.

just did mine as per instructions in another area of the forums...to make it short..

with the car off, climb in and shut the door...
push on the brake pedal and release. ...
hit the starter button (without touching the clutch) FIVE times.... that's on, off, on off, on..
push the brake pedal and release
turn the car off.
then hit the starter button 5 more times.. on off on off on...

the horn will sound saying your in programing mode....

go to the drivers side front tire, get close to the valve stem and use the tpms device button.. the horn will sound.
passenger side front.... horn will sound
passenger side rear..... horn will sound
driver side rear............. horn will sound.

you're done.

Where can buy this tool? I'm in Toronto
I got mine from Tire Rack when I bought the wheels and tires... there are probably other sources...I see Amazon.com has them too..http://www.amazon.com/Motorcraft-TPMS19-Remote-Pressure-Sensor/dp/B001FKSNUI
It seems pretty silly to have to do all that instead of making it a MFT menu item.

^^^^ That. lol
When I replaced my wheels/tires all the work was done by Americas Tire and they took of everything.

Sent with my retro keyboard and mouse.
