I just picked up my Fiesta ST last week, and while flipping through the menus and settings I decided to run a vehicle health report just to see what it was all about.
Is there anyway to get more info about why I'd get the service required message?
The only details that I can 'view' show obvious things about if there are lights on the dash and what they could mean. In my case, there are no lights on the dash. The only thing that may be of concern was that it sounded like my brakes may be grinding slightly, but I thought it may just be the nature of the FiST's brakes.
Edit- I think I may have answered my own question here, in the details it states...

It sounds like it could have been triggered as I had the parking brake set (as I was parked) while running the test. What Should I Do If The Warning Light Turns Off When The Parking Brake Is Not Set? If the warning light turns off when you fully release the parking brake, run another Vehicle Health Report with the parking brake released. Make sure the vehicle's service (regular) brakes are applied and the vehicle is in (P) Park (vehicles with an automatic transmission). Running a Vehicle Health Report with the parking brake set may have generated the initial brake system warning notification.
