Thanks for the suggestion. It is exactly what I did late Sunday. I cleaned off the whole area around the bearing block now that getting under the car is very easy.Clean it off and drive a bit, at least a few hundred miles. If it comes back, then something is leaking. If not, then it is likely nothing to worry about.
Let's see what it will look like in a week. If it returns I need do what RodMoe suggested and go to the dealer.
