I live in CT. called a dealer near me today-he basically said he had No idea when they would have a fiesta st for a test drive, let alone when they would even he able to even order one! He seemed totally clueless. Is Ford messing around with us up here? When can I drive one?!

There are 3 with in 10 miles of Portland Maine, all arrived last Saturday If Maine has them, CT has too..

http://www.inventory.ford.com/model/2014-Fiesta?branding=1&lang=en&zip=04105 Just change the zip code and it will pull up 5 or so dealers around you. You can also explore the 'extended' inventory which in my case; looks up north and into NH.

I did a test drive near Manchester, NH the weekend one came in. I know another dealer in NH has one as it was offered to me as a dealer swap but had options i didn't want.
They are out there.

so how do you find where a car is at if its listed on extended inventory?

i've been to a couple of dealers. around atlanta, most dont seem to have a clue. when i do extended, i get 'ga dlr' (georgia dealer). i'd like to know where those cars actually are.

I can't remember the title of the person, but at all dealerships, there's a person that actually orders the cars from Ford. He/she will know what's coming in for sure. Keep in mind Ford is only expecting to sell 5000-6000 Fiesta ST's at most, so they won't be the easiest car to purchase. Two dealerships in my area haven't even ordered one yet and admitted it's not even on the radar. They can order one for me, but they won't have a single Fiesta ST for months. Kind of crazy if you ask me.

I'm not surprised after seeing how many Focus ST's sat on lots all last year. Order only makes sense on a niche product... I think the SVT Focus might have been sold this way.

Well if this is the case, they may not even sell 5000-6000 units. I didn't even go as far as to try an negotiate an order on a Fiesta ST. I doubt they will bend much if you order a car. Kind of frustrating actually. I find it odd that 2 dealers near me don't even have one on order and won't have one coming in for the forseable future. Do they want sales or not on this car?

i wonder if that was just the dealer giving his perspective.

i ford dealers basically dont even have a car you can check out, its almost like they decided to not sell them at all. for what it is, compared to what it competes with it should sell like hotcakes. perhaps some dealers have decided to just sell mustangs and f150 trucks...

not having one unless you order? i mean its not a gt40...

When you do the Extended Inventory and select ST, I see 8 from zip 02038.
Click on the car that tickles your fancy and then highlight and search on the vin #. You might be best to phone the dealer to find out if it has been delivered yet.
This is how we tracked down where the first ST we could get in black with the specs we wanted, would be available.
