I just bought FiST (ST1 2015, European version) for a month and a very annoying thing occurred with my aircon: In the hot evening (the temperature indicator is 36-38 degree Celsius), after driving for awhile with the aircon on, the cold air would suddenly become normal fan. I had to turn OFF the aircon button and the turn ON again so that cold air will come on. This is extremely annoying when I am driving. I should be focusing on the road condition but I had to turn the aircon button off and then on again just to get back the cold air. How should I notify my dealer with this issue? The aircon works, it just doesn't work properly.

Several times now my "Auto" function has shut off on it's own. Either that or I'm bumping it, which I'm pretty sure I'm not. That, and: The trip computer changes modes on it's own while I'm out of the vehicle, AND on cold (30> degree days) the radio/SYNC starts to act as if I'm hitting menu buttons. I know THAT'S not normal, but I'm trying to monitor my entrance/exit from the vehicle to make sure I'm not hitting anything. Once I'm 100% sure I'll call Ford. They did a reset for the SYNC problem but it didn't help.

I seemed to be able to reproduce the weird situation with my aircon:

1. I turn off fresh air input (the max. button)
2. the temperature reach 37-38 degree Celsius

the aircon will automatically shut down and only the fan is blowing, which after awhile will be very hot because Malaysia is a hot country. I will need to turn off the aircon and on again to turn on the aircon. So I believe this is a software issue.

What I discover is that if I allow fresh air to come in, then, even at 38 degree Celsius, the aircon still functions properly. How did Ford design their software to create such a weird situation?

To my surprise this morning, I had ventilation on (I did not turn off the fresh air intake), and it was 27 degree Celsius, and suddenly hot air blow in. So I believe this is some electronic control problem and not just software issue. But now I can see this problem is actually random rather than faulty software control.
