If you plan to tint, feel free to comment with what percentage(s) you plan on using.

Nothing for Canada? I'm planning on tinting with formula One Pinnacle. Had it on my last 2 cars. Had 35% on my gti and thought it was too light. But 35% is the standard lowest legal tint. Although I don't believe there is an actual law here. It's up to the the cop and if they can see you or not.

I went 30% on my current car and its pretty good. May do the same or try 25% on the FiST. I find the formula one pinnacle to be lighter than regular tint at the same percentage. But it could just be me.

A tip I fit from a friend whose a cop is that is you get pulled over at night. Turn your dome lamp on.
Wish factory tint was available :(

I'll be using the 3M Crystalline. Looks stock but with the benefits of less heat/UV. I may go darker on the sides/hatch.
This is also very high on my list of things to do.
The rear doors and all around the back will be Limo Tint.
The front doors and front quarters will be about 25%.
With nothing on the windshield.

Probably do a clear-ish tint, to at least keep the UV/glare down up front and keep the heat out.. Add a dark strip on the windshield (brow).. and 20 or darker for the rear. Not allowed to tint the front windows aside from the brow... And they are pretty ruthless on enforcing it around here. I don't want the hassle. Not really even supposed to do the super light tint, but I figure it'll look pretty factory and barely make a difference... With the dark strip up front and the dark in the rear I am hoping it's not noticeable.

Just got mine done today. 25% all the way around, which is standard factory tint for SUV rear windows. I've had the same grade tint on my past two vehicles and I've only been pulled over for it once.

That looks really nice.

looks so good!
My 2011 SES has 20% all around w/ none on windshield. Never been a problem. I may go to 30% for the FiST though.
My Raptor had 20% stock rear tint, and wasn't dark enough for me. I'm thinking12% (the tint I am getting lists %'s of 5/12/23/37/48/72).

I don't know if the 12% is supposed to be 10% or 15%? Whatever... All I know is 5% is basically the limo tint, and I don't quite want it that black. But 20% wasn't enough, so that leaves me with 12% as pretty much my only option.

72 for the windshield & front driver/passenger windows... depending on how visible it is.. If it looks stock, I'll go for it.. If it's too dark I won't bother risking it. Get a transparent UV film.
Going with 5% all the way around like I do on all my vehicles. Wish I had a backup camera for night time.
I did 20% on mine today. I had 35% on my SES and wished I had gone darker, so I went for it this time.

20% on the red looks lighter than 30% on the black...could it be because of the lighting of the type of tint used?
What are you guys paying? Quotes out here are all over the place, a ballpark would be great leverage.
Could be angle and lighting that makes the tint look darker. Here's another pic taken at the same time but different angle and it looks lighter.

I got formula one pinnacle series tint. cost was $299 (Canadian) from the dealer.
