What are you guys paying? Quotes out here are all over the place, a ballpark would be great leverage.
$180 out the door for 20% all around.
$180 is about the average price out in northern jersey for quality tint. You can get tint for $100 but youll get what you pay for in the long run.

Mine is Molten Orange (nearly impossible to capture that color on camera) but I'm sure it's the angle. Here's the other side:

I paid $150 and I'm very happy with the results.

What size are your tires?

Those are the 205/45R17's that are actually too big and rub the rear wheel liner occasionally. I'm picking a set of dedicated winter performance tires and rims from TireRack (yes, I used the link from here). Those are 195/50R16 Pirelli Snowsports and a set of Sport Edition SE-16's that I'll Plastidip black.
This past Thursday I opted for something stronger than the 35% I chose for my previous two vehicles. I paid a bit more, but ended up with Suntek Carbon XP 18% film. I'll concede it's a little aggressive, but I think it looks very nice against the silver.
I have a shop so its a bit different, but it was $125, 28% with strip down to the 1SA line in the front.

Looks darker. I like it! Yours has painted calipers and regular wheels? Did you paint the calipers yourself?
Na those are the Rado Grey wheels, just poor lighting on the pic.
Anyone put a strip of tint on the top of their windshield? Is it safe to have the tint go over the grid thats built in to the top of the windshield? not sure what its for but I think its suppose to be for rain sensing wipers. I stopped the tint guy from applying over it.
35 is the lowest I can go in my country before I get arrested...

Nice chart! I always thought CA law stipulated "no tint on front windows", but that chart says 70% is okay. That's cool, but I'm still breaking the law! I wish that didn't make me think of Beavis and Butthead...

I went with 6% "limo" on the rear hatch, the rear windows, and the smaller glass sections.

For the front two, I went with their lightest, which was 46%. I'm tempted to try a near-clear "ceramic" for the windshield -- but that's to be decided another time.

The price was $230 for their premium tint, and I have to say that I'm always impressed with their work. This is my fifth or sixth car that I've done, and I notice the quality over others. FWIW, the cheaper guys used to cut my seals adjacent the glass and have generally sloppy work. The invoice said they did "nine windows" (including those silly shards of glass on the corners).

They also recommended that we remove the rear spoiler -- so we did. He said that during the heat-shrink process it would likely burn the plastic. It only took us five minutes to remove it, and I can share more detail if anyone wants it.

If you're in the Long Beach area and want a recommendation, it's called "Magic Tint and Auto" on Cherry Avenue (next to Best Buy).

Some great lookin tint in this thread! But I feel like some of these photo's are a bit misleading... Tint looks so different from diff angles/lighting.

I got my tint done today, I'll post pix up when it's lighter out.. Just got back from Christmas horror shopping, and it's way too dark to bother with photo's.

70% up front, 15% rear + brow.

Steelies+Winter Pirelli's getting put on tomorrow too.. so I'll wait until that's done to take some pic's.
