It's been a long and terrible winter and I decided to attempt washing my engine bay today because it was getting pretty bad. Then I noticed a lot of salt build up at the shock towers. Just wanted to share and see if others have noticed this. I washed the bigger buildup away on the passenger side before i took a pic but I got a pic of it on the drivers side.

Second pic is from far away for reference but it's at the top right under the break fluid.

I've noticed the same build up in mine, albeit much smaller. I'm planning to use the vacuum cleaner to clean it up before washing the engine bay to minimize any cross contamination. It's very odd how it makes all the way there. Would be good to find the proper way to seal it and stop it at once.

thx for sharing.
