I don't know the details, but I do know that one should take European mpg specs with a grain of salt.....always way over ours here stateside for the same cars. Different measurement standards , thigh I'd love to know what they are. I imagine a 80 headwind is involved somehow? Lol

They may use the imperial gallon, which is about 20% more than a U.S. gallon. Even so, that seems a bit high.
